The Nordic group GOT YOUR BACK (“GYB”), established in Sweden and Denmark, has entered Norway through the acquisition of Oslo-based Falk. Since its inception in 2021, Falk has grown into a specialist company providing compliance and accounting services within the alternative investment fund and mutual fundsmarket to Norwegian asset managers.
The acquisition creates a combined team of around 65 experts across three Nordic markets, with total assets under administration of around 175 billion SEK, positioning GYB as one of the largest independent providers of fund administration and compliance services to alternative investment funds and UCITs managers in the Nordics.
The combined company will be able to service complex cross-border mandates, support client demand and meet regulatory complexity, creating a Nordic leader with the scale and expertise to serve some of the most demanding clients in financial services. The group will cover everything from fund administration, depositary services, compliance, accounting, regulatory reporting, to corporate and trustservices.
